Eligibility
Who can apply for the B.Ed. (2.5 years) Secondary, and what you need for your teaching subjects.
Academic requirements
- 14 years of education: a two-year Bachelor’s degree (BA, BSc or BCom) or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 45% marks (second division).
- All subjects cleared. Candidates with a failed or compartment subject cannot be admitted until it is cleared.
- A first degree in a discipline other than Education.
Teaching subjects
You choose two teaching subjects. To choose a science subject (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics) you must have studied the same subject at F.Sc. level. The full list of subjects is on the programme page.
